On 5, 6 and 7 May we were at the Virtual Job Fair organised by the University of C\u00e1diz, a meeting and communication point between professionals and companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, we were part of the more than thirty companies and organisations that participated in the event to give students and new graduates the opportunity to develop personally and professionally <\/strong>through offers of internships and jobs.<\/p>\n\n Due to the given situation and in compliance with all security measures regarding COVID-19, the event, like the previous one, took place virtually<\/strong>. This is a breakthrough in the conception of such events: The digital age reaches all areas and makes it possible to reach more people with just one click.<\/p>\n\n The aim of this job fair, organised by the University of C\u00e1diz, is to help students and graduates with their introduction to the world of work. Among other initiatives, the university is also responsible for conducting training interviews as part of the Integral Training Plan for Employment <\/em>(in Spanish Plan Integral de Formaci\u00f3n para el Empleo<\/em>, or PIFE for short), where students are advised on how to find a job and facilitated in contacting companies that match their professional profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n Job fairs are a place where supply and qualified demand meet. As one of WATA Factory’s main objectives is to develop quality work in our autonomous community (Andaluc\u00eda), there is no better way than to support the new generations in the arduous task of finding work.
