• – First of all, we have installed dispensers with disinfecting liquid in our premises. Each employee was instructed to wash their hands several times a day while being in the office.
• – Secondly, we sent out a circular mail with basic prevention measures to avoid possible infection.
• – Thirdly, last Thursday, March 12th, there was a simulation in which practically 100% of the team worked from home all day. Capacity and reliability tests of our technical infrastructure were carried out to guarantee our customers the best service, even without our staff being present in the offices.
• – Finally, to ensure the health of our employees, everyone will work from home for the next two weeks.

At WATA Factory we will continue working to ensure excellent service to our customers and the health of our employees.

WATA Academy is a program with which we want to support the community in the most practical way possible by offering talks and workshops that convey useful knowledge and provide important values.

Therefore, we will have national and international expert speakers from different technologies. Specialists with several years of experience and a multitude of developed projects.

These events will be managed on the Meetup platform. There we publish the different meetings we offer every month and you can register for free. WATA Factory covers the travel and accommodation costs of the various speakers and offers them free of charge to the community.

Docker is an open-source project to isolate applications through container virtualization.

Docker simplifies the deployment of applications because containers, which include all necessary packages, can be easily transported and installed as files. Containers ensure the separation and management of the resources used on a computer. For several months now we have been using Docker in new projects and, as far as possible, are converting existing projects to this technology.

At WATA Factory we promote the continuous training of our employees through the WATA Academy.

The WATA Academy is an initiative where software developers and testers can participate free of charge in expert lectures and workshops on various technologies.

This Docker introductory workshop enables employees to learn the basics and consolidate their existing knowledge, thus improving the practical use of Docker in a wide range of projects.

The session was for the first time developed in a special and different way.

Some of the developers attended the workshop directly on-site, while other employees were able to follow the training from their workstations thanks to our streaming system.
